The Studies have been unclear in regards to side effects of taking vitamin E in high doses.
4. Vitamin C
When taken in moderation, it helps to improve blood circulation to the scalp.
Studies have shown that taking too much of a vitamin C supplement can convert ferric iron in the body to something toxic, which harms the heart and organs. In regards to the hair, the result is rapid producing cells that can lead to a flaky scalp.
Eating foods high in Vitamin C does not cause these toxic elements to happen. Eating foods high in Vitamin C does not have a harmful effect in the body (only Vitamin C supplements have the potential of being harmful).
5. Vitamin B
These vitamins for hair growth are the most popular in regards to treating your hair and scalp. You can find this vitamin in foods such as turkey, meat, milk, eggs, brewer’s yeast, fish, fruit, and whole grains.
- Vitamin B3 – Increases blood flow to scalp.
